May 12, 2018 - Aging beautifully. Fruit is still showing through. Smooth, well integrated tenants. Still dark in color, purple. Still has 5 to 10 years left.
November 9, 2013 - Very good, but staring to show its age.
February 17, 2012 - Last of my bottles and this one definitely crossed over and was too old. Little to no fruit left. What was left was musty, dusty, lacking in flavor.
February 8, 2010 - Drinking nicely right out of the bottle right now. Close to its peak would be my guess. Sweet fruit with smooth background tannin, enough to provide good structure. A treat to taste.
July 31, 2008 - Impromptu Tasting with Friends (Ann's): Nice balanced wine with mellowed tannins, dark fruits and some green pepper. I generally don't prefer any green pepper notes, but this was still good.
August 6, 2006 - Excellent.
February 22, 2003 - Quick Day Trip to Napa (Napa Valley CA): Tasting at winery. Black fruit aromas with some coffee and chocolate. Slightly jammy on finish.
