April 14, 2019 - Drinking nicely and was pleasantly surprised. My only bottle :(

March 22, 2019 - It took a full 2 and 1/2 hour decant for this to open and it was worth the wait. Yum.

March 1, 2019 - Fully mature, the wine lacks the depth and richness found in the best years. Instead, you find a licorice, earth and smoke filled wine with dark plums, round textures and black, cocoa dusted cherries in the finish.

February 2, 2019 - This TM is now (slowly) reaching its drinking window, rewarding the long wait. While right bank Bordeauxs tends to mature more rapidly than left bank or Pessac - due to the high (80%) Merlot share - this bottle gave us a hard time in earlier years. Today it seduces from the very first moment with a nose of impeccable, elegant cask notes, generous red fruit, chocolate, liquorice. Medium to full bodied, this wine is quintessentially St. Emilion, elegant, complex and delicate, with a perfect harmony between ripe fruit, mineral expressions, phenolic sweetness and earthy notes - and a long finish inviting for more. Start drinking, but don’t hurry.

January 20, 2019 - Decanted briefly Friday nite and wine had no fruit, seemed old and over the hill. Hopefully, just a bad bottle
