September 1, 2019 - Decanted and drank last nite. Quite aromatic, nose of black fruit. Good amount of fruit on the palate, but this wine is mature. Drinking well but I wouldn't hold much longer. Enjoyable on this occasion

August 24, 2019 - VEO Bordeaux Right Bank 1998, 2000 and 2001 (Restaurant Zoldering Amsterdam): Earth, dark fruits and a herbaceous note in the attractive nose. Full bodied on the palate with licorice, thick dark fruits to chew on. Good acidity and well balanced. Better integrated tannin than the 2000 TM in the same flight. Fully mature and should last well another 5+ years.

July 20, 2019 - Decanted and consumed over five hours

Deep, dark, inky purple with bricked rim
Roses, soap candy, cigar box, pencil lead, meaty hints
Dry, tannin is still present. Light on the fruit. More of the graphite and earthy elements remaining. A fine wine for sure. Glad I opened it as it is peaking. Drink NOW!

July 3, 2019 - This was a bit tired. Last bottle and I am glad.
