July 1, 2023 - Earthy, restrained. Lots of acidity, cool blueberry and vegetable soup. Very fine soft tannins. Plenty of time left here…

April 3, 2023 - Off the list at Rekondo. A wine that benefited from air over the course of a long dinner. Gorgeous aromatics from the get go -- sour cherry, herbs, earth, leather and American Oak dill. Palate was a bit lightweight and short to start, but filled out nicely with time. Last glass was the best. At the end of a peak window.

January 16, 2021 - A lovely, fully mature wine that has aged gracefully with gentle, sweet, refined fruit, notes of damsons, good energy and freshness and still has lots of life ahead.

July 30, 2016 - Youthful fruit that is ripe and perfumed with a liquor kind of richness and sap but also balanced with bright acidity. There is a prominent scent of coconut on the nose too. Lovely wine now but very intense wine, feels unresolved, powerful and still coiled up, and I imagine this is just the beginning of its life.
