November 21, 2021 - Worth waiting on. Nicely integrated dark cherry and blackberry with notes of fern, mint. Sturdy structure but glides across the tongue effortlessly. Wish I had more.

April 13, 2019 - Needed an hour to start opening up and hit it stride after three hours. A hint of age on the rim but still largely young looking in the glass. Aromatic nose. Medium finish.

January 17, 2018 - 13.5% alcohol. The cork is of average length and density; the wine penetrates it half of the way in parts.
The colour is pale, with a distinctly orangey tinge on the outer rim. The nose is intense and complex, with fresh red berries as well as a pleasant raisiny aspect and some tertiary notes. The mouth is just as good, lively and juicy, with the raisiny aspect much less in evidence initially, but reasserting itself with exposure to air. A delight for those who like their Burgundies to be fleet-of-foot. This displays some of the Burgundy magic that was so sorely missing from the Gouges N-St-G Porrets 99 that I had recently.
A repeat purchase in principle, but my understanding is that Vincent Girardin is not involved any more, and I have no idea of current prices. -

November 29, 2014 - Similar to previous note. Still some life in this. Definitely old world Pinot!

April 19, 2013 - Drank at Ad Hoc with Randy, Oskar, Laurie, and Virginia. Deep red colour, complex nose with vinous and resin notes. Great mouth feel, with dark cherries and balsam. Drinks well now but will probably improve.
