August 13, 2023 - Stored perfectly since release. Tired, oxidized with prune tinged raisins and oxidation on the nose, big rich and tannic with too much of everything and the oxidation shows up in the finish. No balance left.

February 9, 2023 - Pop and pour, drank half the bottle over 2 hours. I think I'D RATHER BE DRINKING WINE nailed it in 6/2021. This wine was at peak then when we shared a bottle, still drinking very well, possibly the smallest bit declined since then. This wine has an aged profile in regards to complexity. Fresh ripe fruit on the nose. On the palate, rich, earthy, blackberry and slight anise.

November 18, 2022 - Nose: Vivid plum and cherry fruit with tobacco, flowers and mint coming through. The oak influence is there, but getting more integrated as the wine approaches 20-years.
Palate: Great balance on the palate here with fruit density that is not overly weighty. There is a brightness about the plum and blackberry notes, and excellent minty herbal complexity. Floral perfume in the inner mouth and back palate.
Finish: Lengthy with now rounded soft tannins.

Tremendous petite sirah from Robert Foley again. This has many years ahead, but if you have a few this is a great time to check in on these wines.

June 7, 2021 - Wines ready to drink: This wine has an aged profile in regards to complexity, but it remains youthful in a way. Rich, earthy, blackberry, slight anise, surprisingly smokey, and the smoke flavor built with time in glass.

June 5, 2021 - Online Tasting: Wines Ready to Drink NOW!: This wine is in a peak drinking window right now , IMO. Nose iso perfumed and palate shows layers of fruit and spice, with secondary flavors of smoked meat, forest floor and tree bark. Very nice Petite Syrah and in a good place.
    92-93 points.
