March 10, 2024 - First pour after opening, extremely tight. Decanted for 2hrs. Started to show promise from there. Overall, this is still young (for my taste). Massive red fruit up front, red currant and prune. Loads of spice, licorice too. Smoke with leather musk. Bright and vibrant with med high tannins. Plenty of time still left with this one.
November 30, 2023 - A fabulous bottle! A delight to drink. I bought the bottle for $144 at Total Wine and More in Florida. Great price for the bottle.
November 5, 2023 - Opened 6 hours before dinner. Liked it better upon opening as it felt brighter, fresher and more red fruit. With air, it felt heavier and showed more darker fruit. Wine is in balance though and drinking really well. Thought it paired nicely with the short rib, veal, and pork pappardelle ragu.

Very much alive and singing
September 11, 2023 - the only sangiovese in last evenings vinetasters in a good drinking spot
overall proves we drink our wines too young imo
June 28, 2023 - Super Tuscans - Berry Brothers; 6/28/2023-7/28/2023 (St James St, London): Dark ruby red, with hints of bricking. Soft cherry nose, hints of fig and dark fruit, pepper and liquorice. Tannins are vibrant, crunchy acidity, very present sour red and black cherries, savoury, cigar box and leather. With some air time, it evolves complexity, softened tannins. Very good.
June 4, 2023 - Medium garnet in glass. Pronounced intensity on the nose. Cherry, roasted tomatoes, iodine and incense. Medium plus acidity and tannins. Long finish. Very complex. Decanted for 3 hours. Next bottle 2025.
May 21, 2023 - Just stellar after 5 hour decant. Great blend with nice integration of the Sangiovese. Years left of course.
May 18, 2023 - Mature blackberry and dark, deep cherry. Tanin is present and strong but restrained. Body is full, finish is long. Great bottle, time will give this many more features.
April 16, 2023 - Still going strong with plenty of life left.
