  July 24, 2020 - 10 years after Riesling tasting - 2010 (Restaurant Holz und Feuer, Kirchheim, Germany): *** brief impression from tasting event, no detailed tasting note ***
  Glass: Gabriel Standard and Sophienwald Bordeaux
  Bottle opened at noon, double decanted. Drunk about 8-10h later. Screw cap. Bottle bought at release. Pirate.
  Clear, pale golden color. Some issue with the wine. No TCA, but some thought UTA. Drinkable, but certainly the weakest wine of the evening. 87

  December 29, 2015 - Glass: Riedel Vinum Syrah
  Clear, pale light golden color. Medium intense nose with yellow stone fruits and wet stones. Bone dry with vintage typical high acidity. Elegant, mineral, racy, currently a good companion with food to match the high acidity. No signs of Botrytis, clean and pure. Drinking windows has just begun, it has potential for further ageing and might gain 1-3 points over time.

  June 17, 2015 - Great stonefruit scent on the nose, very perfumy; still quite tart on the palate, lots of acidity, not as fruit-driven as the nose, but elegant, mineral and racy. Not a hint of Botrytis, very clean and pure. Has potential to improve if the acidity calms down a bit with bottle age. - 90+ points
