April 2, 2021 - Last bottle. Still a great wine, but lost some of the richness compared to previous. Oak and minerality more to fore now, making it a good match to food and enough acidity to cut through a buttery sauce with my fish. Long stony finish. Very enjoyable, but drink up what you have left.

January 28, 2019 - Approaching some form of maturity, this has it all; the creamy texture, the butter, the exotic fruit. Plenty of acidity, extremely fresh, lively ... loving it. No sig of decline whatsoever, though the quite rich style could soeak for drinking it earlier rather than later. 93+

November 26, 2017 - Golden straw colour, long legs, minerals nose which opens as the child comes off the glass. Rich and complex on palate, with a stony edge that makes it a great food wine. Served with John Dory with Hollandaise. Delicious but now time to dig it out of your cellar and enjoy before it declines.

April 2, 2017 - Fin duft av honning, tropiske frukter og blomster. Fet i munnen, men ettersmaken har et alkoholstikk som ikke kler vinen.

November 8, 2016 - Tasting of Condrieus by Andre Perret followed by Pape 1998 during dinner (Goodman in Mayfair): Complex and elegant Condrieu. Yellow fruits and cake notes in the nose. Thick and rich on the palate. Still in early stage of its life but possibly missing acidity and fruit for further aging.
