June 11, 2015 - There has been some change since I last had this about 2 years ago. It still explodes with cherry, leather and tobacco, but the strawberry is gone. The balance is now about perfect with light acidity and tannins very light. It finishes very long and smooth.

May 11, 2014 - Clean fruit, not to oaky. Good classic cali-pinot Noir, but way out there regarding price. Would buy Calera PN any day before this.

December 28, 2013 - Tart and a bit metallic. Way over priced at $25

September 20, 2013 - Light color. The nose explodes with cherry, leather, wood, toast, strawberry all combining to draw you into this wine. All stay in tasting with the cherry getting a little darker and the strawberry disappearing. Very balanced and smooth-could use a little more acidity though. Very long lingering finish. This is still young and looking for the finish to improve with age.

June 4, 2013 - While certainly enjoyable, this deep ruby Pinot falls short in structure. It has nice aromas and flavors of blackberries, raspberries, cola and plum-laced fruit, but is lacking in acid. The tannins are medium in weight and very fine-grained, and the alcohol (listed as 13.5%) is quite tame. Solid in the middle, it concludes with a medium-length, albeit flabby finish. A bit more verve would be in order here. Drink now-2015.
