December 29, 2016 - Wonderful Pinot. A bit closed at first but really opened up after about 30 min.
December 25, 2016 - popped and poured. Tupical Sojourn. All about fruit. Well integrated and ready to go. Not a lot of complexity but as said above very good RRV fruit. Drink over the next couple of years.
October 6, 2016 - Another great sojourn wine
August 11, 2016 - Nice cherries, cola and well balanced. I found the finish a little lighter than I have in the past with other Sojourn single vineyards, but still a winner.
January 31, 2016 - Loads of cherry and spice. Has an elegance about it. Fleshes out across the palate culminating in a lengthy, fruit-driven finish.
December 25, 2015 - A lighter, more earthy Pinot than most Sojourns. Cherry, forest floor, spice and clove on the nose. Cherry cola, cranberries, citrus, earth and mushrooms on the palate with bright acidity and a mid finish. An enjoyable wine with our Christmas dinner.
October 16, 2015 - Pop and pour from a 375. Another heavily stained cork. Fruit was missing and the mushroom and forest floor was still there.
June 26, 2015 - Light crimson in color. 14.2% ABV. Red fruits, earth, baking spices and cloves on the nose. Light in body and bursting with acidity. Tart cherries, earth, mushrooms and cranberries on the palate. More earthy and less opulent than I am accustomed to from Sojourn but not necessarily in a bad way. Drink over the next 2-3 years.
May 28, 2015 - Pop and pour from a 375. This seemed bigger and bolder than a typical Wohlers. Cherry was prominent and dominated the earth and mushroom that lurked in the background.
April 14, 2015 - Pop and pour from a 375. Cork was stained 2/3 of the way up and very soft. This seemed off compared to my previous full bottle. Ha some earth and mushroom with a little cherry.
