  October 28, 2017 - Gorgeous deep colour still. Morello cherries and plum on the nose. Continues in the palate with a savoury and soft baking spice note. Tannin incredibly supple, very fine grain. Reasonable finish with soft acidity. Very well rounded and delicious

  December 24, 2014 - Central Otago Visit; 12/20/2014-1/1/2015 (Queenstown and surrounds, Central Otago, New Zealand): Drank alongside the very young and truculent 2013. Velvet red colour and more transparent still than the 2013. Nose is strawberry, brushwood, dust. Palate is light, rounded, pleasant high acidity and a ton of minerality with the black cherry of the 2013 now having dialed back to a less forward and more rounded red cherry but still quite tannic even on the nose. Palate is light in the mouth, nicely acidic and with a an attractive finale of sharp wild strawberries. This develops into tangy strawberry jelly with extended time in the glass. 89+
