September 17, 2022 - Dark intense fruit on a core of solid tannins. Dark prune and wet leaves super long finish.
Second day- nose is like a field of mountain wild flowers with a touch of pain grille. Tannins somewhat more mellow.

January 26, 2021 - peppercorn, black cherries, black currant, spiced plum, cassis, mocha, savory herbs, licorice, violet, sweet oak spice, a hint of bell pepper

My favorite among the Bond vineyards. Ripe black fruits, silky smooth palate and fine grained tannins. Tasted quite good on day 2 as well. Probably no rush to drink this, should continue to do well. Great wine.

January 9, 2021 - Kleur: Diep robjnrood. 50 + Kleur: 5 + Aroma / bouquet: 12 + Smaak / Afdronk: 18 + Algemeen / potentieel: 9 = 94/100

Color: Deep ruby red. Aroma / bouquet: Perfumed nose, full of sweet fruit (cherries, black currants) and matured notes of cedar, cigars and leather. Taste / Finish: Mouth-filling and - especially for a Napa-Bordeaux blend - very classic, 'old world' and elegant. Fresh acidity, beautifully aged tannins and - despite 14.5% alcohol - beautifully balanced. After some time aeration, this wine gains enormous complexity with retronasal impressions of espresso and dark chocolate. Great long finish. General / potential: Beautiful, almost 'classic' Bordeaux blend with a wonderful concentration and a wonderful balance. 50 + Color: 5 + Aroma / bouquet: 12 + Taste / Finish: 18 + Overall / potential: 9 = 94/100

September 19, 2020 - Nose: gorgeous perfumed nose of blackberry, red cherry, sweet cassis, sandalwood and cigar box. Layered and elegant. Palate: Silky refined palate is classy and berry laden. Graphite, stone, sweet spice and oak. Finish: Lots of length and detail here. No doubt a powerful wine, but loaded with precision in delivery. St Eden is among my favorites in East oakville.
