November 24, 2023 - PNP. This has opened up a bit more since my last bottle. Bright red fruit but now the secondaries starting to show on nose and with some softer fruit on the palate (after 30 minutes in the glass). Seems to be entering its prime window and really fun to drink. A-/A

April 24, 2023 - Small taste then slow ox for 5 hours. Then served from the bottle over 3 hours. Not bad on the first taste, with bright cherry fruit on the nose but a little bit hesitant on the palate. After the slow ox this was a bit more open, and the nose in particular is showing well. But it still is just a bit short on the finish and I think its best days are yet to come. Can be enjoyed now but i would hold another couple of years to catch it at its best. A-

March 5, 2023 - PNP and enjoyed over 3 hours. Very pretty ruby red color. Cool red fruit on the nose but maybe holding back just a bit. Same feeling on the elegant mouthfeel and finish. This is very nice and I think will improve - drinkable now but I think I will hold of another year or two. A-

January 20, 2023 - A fantastic bottle of 1er that is at an early peak, like so many 2010s. Gorgeously pure fruit with earth and spice accents. Terrific textural interest and complexity, showing some more modest signs of it's Musigny neighbor.

November 5, 2021 - Wait a few more years. Right now not fully integrated, with very dark and slightly shut down fruit.

December 2, 2020 - I like this producer and this vintage is wonderful, also from a QPR perspective (well for being Burgundy that is). It is still young as can be noticed from the rather high acidity, but importantly it is well in balance. There is intense and slightly unripe fruit on the attack, which mellows into a more full-bodied mid-palate, and then stretches into a long balanced finish. Extremely good with pulled pork sandwiches.

November 25, 2017 - Decanted for 60 min, drunk over 2 hours.Nose a bit retained some oak is noticed.Taste is somehow a bit tannic, not soft as I would have wanted. My style is more like Pacalet, Dujac or Comte de Vogüe.

Flott lengde.

July 20, 2016 - Beautiful wine. Opens up with strong notes of currants. I made the mistake of leaving one glass for the next day and I think it slightly turned - became more pungent and tasted almost perfume-like.

November 2, 2013 - Chambolle Night: Darker fruit than the Grivot, fine acidity, spicy, tannic, well balanced. Bright future.
