June 4, 2021 - At a wonderful point of development - staggeringly complex forest floor, wet cave, mineral, bing cherry and plum notes on the nose. Silky and refreshing on the palate with loads of earth, forest light funk and fruit. The glories of Burg!

July 5, 2020 - Darker cherry color with slight brown tinge. Delicious wine. I must have gotten lucky with this wine was singing open of business.

January 26, 2020 - Beautiful red Burgundy. Too young but showing after some time in the decanter. Be patient, time will pay off.

October 20, 2019 - Decanted 6 hrs. This seems to be progressing nicely since my last bottle in 2016. Aromatically, lots to like here, with attractive traits of dark currant, xmas spices, with a lingering floral overlay. Initially this comes across as easy going and very accessible, but don’t be fooled, there is still a ton of good structure present, it just takes a second or so to hit. The dark fruit carries a tasty savory edge, and like the nose this seemed to taste like currant with a playful briary streak. Really well balanced acidity and good palate coverage. Clearly out of its primary stage but years to go. Worth checking in if you have a few. I miss this label, the new ones look so sterile.

January 17, 2019 - Eit nytt juleunder I Stryn. Chevillon skuffar aldri.

July 21, 2018 - Consistent with last bottle. Already drinking nicely with good acidic balance and a solid core of red fruit, soil, and minerals. Medium to long finish. I like the acidic edge to this and am looking forward to seeing how it develops.

December 31, 2017 - This rocked. Beautiful notes of lavender and berry upon opening. Decanted for five to six hours. Elegant, velvety tannins. This is so smooth. Dark fruit and raspberry with vibrant acid. Tannins on the back end. Already firing on all cylinders, but I think this could benefit from another few years in the cellar.
