December 24, 2016 - Somewhat improved from 2-1/2 years ago. Bottle disgorged on 7/16/13. Comprised of 2/3 Chardonnay and 1/3 Pinot Meunière, without malolactic fermentation. The nose is dominated by yeasty dough, with lemon and pineapple in the background. Not terribly complex and seems slightly "sweet" at mid-palate, probably due to due to the non malo. However, as the wine transitions to the finish, there is a very pleasing, slightly tart, very long finish. Not nearly as good as this producer's Blanc de Blanc, but for less than $30, it's a great value.

June 7, 2015 - Hard to judge...served too warm for William's graduation and couldn't really focus...much better on open bottle next night that had been chilled

May 30, 2015 - Immediately yeasty, almost doughy to the nose. Complex aroma develops quickly. Mild taste with medium acidity and even a hint of sweetness, even if this is an Extra Brut. Good mousse, lengthy finish. Pairs easily with a wide range of foods.

January 3, 2015 - Dry yet Full of notions of nuts, apple and pear, with toasty nose and some stone on the finish - mixed with fruit. A lengthy finish. Crisp and easy to drink.

January 1, 2015 - Not as rich or as complex as I anticipated given all Cramant Grand Cru fruit. Seemingly not very much time on lees and/or absence of Reserve wines. Finish is Tasted over 2 days.

November 27, 2014 - Still Veuve like, with small bead, but somehow richer and more complex than when last tasted. Perfect for pre-Thanksgiving toasting. Amazing QPR for around $30.

May 30, 2014 - Great QPR and it works for me at $30. Pale golden color, lighter side of medium bodied texture. Simplistic and straight forward with aromas and flavors of lemon, apple, toasty vanilla, and lots of yeastiness. Light without much depth or structure. Disgorged June 16, 2013.

November 30, 2013 - A crowd pleaser. Not familiar with this producer previously. Fresh, mild, as another poster wrote a good appertif. Pale complexion, slight citrus and just enough yeast to keep it interesting. Would buy again, good QPR.

July 5, 2013 - Less interesting than the BdB we had the night before. Good quality and QPR. It works well as an aperitif bubbly. It lacks the structure to stand up to heavier foods and the taste wasn't as interesting. Still a fine bargain.

June 24, 2013 - Quite focused and clean. The subtleties yet to materialize, but I'm sure they will in due time. Not likely that I can hold off on my remaining 2 bottles but it's probably worth waiting a year or so. Crisp Meyer lemon, apple, yeast, candied ginger, and a trifle of butterscotch. Prominent acidity.
