November 2, 2016 - A really pleasant surprise - a very good, inexpensive and good QPR negociant borxeaux. Popped and poured and quite ok this way but 2nd glass definitely better - would recommend at least an hour in the decanter, time permitting. Surprisingly good wine. Inky purple, full bodied, smooth, balanced tannins and a very nice reasonably long aftertaste. Big somewhat sweet nose with oak, dark fruit and caramel with flavors of oak, dark fruit and cassis up front with an earthier finish including earth, plum and grilled meats Definitely recommend this wine.
