  • Gestalted Likes this wine: (90 points)

February 17, 2014 - A port like plum nose with an underlying herbiness. The midpalate is mouthcoating but more medium weight. Finish has a nice sweetness with a stream of plum, herbs, cherry and vanilla. Overall and nice, complex, delicious wine.

Consumed at at cellar temp: 60°-65° F. Friends don't let friends drink red wine at room temp!

  • presterjohn Does not like this wine:

January 14, 2014 - Intense dense dark fruit, slight bovril feel, heavy and thudding. Ripasso?

  • drdebs Likes this wine: (88 points)

September 14, 2013 - reminiscent of Ripassa, with deep, dark red fruit that is slightly raisiny. Plush and fruity, with an underlying bitterness that keeps it in check.
