April 15, 2019 - Great ripe red cherry and soft earth. Acidity is holding well to keep this lively. Long finish, very food friendly.

April 18, 2018 - My last bottle and unfortunately a disappointment.
Aerated with a Vinturi and left to breathe in decanter for about an hour.
    Very muted nose.
Drying tannins dominate with only a slight essence of dark berry fruits on the palate.
The finish is medium with sour cherry notes.
This last of 3 bottles appears to have lost its fruit......rated 80 since it's definitely still drinkable but a far cry from the 92 rated previous bottles I had in 2013 which had fantastic fruit. Drink up now.

January 30, 2018 - Leaves, mint, herbs, and cherries. Surprisingly tannic initially. Fruit is secondary right now, and this is a fantastic wine in a great spot in its life.

December 17, 2017 - Great toscana wine. Fruity

August 28, 2017 - This is a rock-solid Tuscan blend that opens quickly and finishes long. It's not in the class of Tignanello and up of course, but when you're looking for an Italian wine to share with friends, some of who may be novice wine drinkers, this offers the perfect option from a price point and payload perspective. My 2007 aged well in 10 years and still had some decent fruit in its taste profile. Happy to snag a few more bottles.
