February 23, 2024 - A little shy on the nose. Notes of red berries. Not a complex wine.

February 24, 2023 - Somewhat suffered from following a Cathiard (village wine!), which had the grand cru weight this lacked. That said, this was still a really pretty Burgundy that was a pleasure to drink. It was brightly red-fruited, lifted and surprisingly sensual, just lacking a little bit on the mid-palate and finish - and delightful with cheese.

September 11, 2022 - Beautiful wine. Burst of red fruit. Refined and glossy. Medium to long finish.

June 6, 2022 - This is a wine that demands the right pairing. Lean with wet stone/clay immediately prominent-dried apricots also in the mix. Decanted 2 hours -could have gone longer. Stands up to robust country French cooking-Tarragon chicken -terrific with a long finish. Impressive.

October 10, 2021 - 4th bottle in a few years. This one showed more promise. Still very hard nosed and rustic in nature. Quite gravelly, with crushed grey stones, hints of anise and spice coming through. More open and showing the typicity of corton.
