May 5, 2016 - Consistent with previous note but will add that the astringency has been integrated. In my opinion this juice has peaked but should hold on for another year or so but dont be late!
March 15, 2015 - Eye: Deep Garnet
Nose: Black cherry, raspberry vanilla and toast
Palate: Black fruits, black truffle and some black berry jam on the back end with med+ acidity and med + astringency.
Overall this was a good CA Pinot. The fruit was a bit over extracted for my personal taste but had nice structure and i would say another 2-3 years of development. Enjoy!
January 1, 2014 - Pronouncedly sweet, firm structure and well crafted. Nice pairing for a cheese course.
November 9, 2012 - Nice spice on the aroma and lingered throughout the taste, its young and decanted should reach its full peak in about a year.

July 6, 2012 - This was a very good, not great, California pinot. The expected nose of spice and dark cherry are there, with some pleasing earthy notes. Once tasted, I enjoyed the level of funky barnyard flavors with the cherry and plum. However, the wine seemed to lack just a little expressiveness to make it outstanding. The flavors seemed just a little flat, perhaps needing a year to fully integrate.
