June 25, 2023 - Similar to my note from 2 years ago, drinks hot on day 1, much better on day 2. Would recommend drinking up as I don't see this one getting much better with time.

July 25, 2021 - This bottle was a tale of two wines over the course of a weekend. After a 3 hour decant, Day 1 was a bit disappointing with hot alcohol notes and some faded fruit which previous tasters had noted. After spending another night in the cellar, Day 2 was a very different story. Tobacco on the nose and plenty of jammy fruit coming out on the palate with a lengthy finish. Happy to say that the hotter alcohol notes had been tamed a bit as well. Tannins were light and dusty.
Do yourself a favor and give this a try over a couple of days, I think you'll be glad you did.2 people found this helpful Comments (1) -

July 27, 2020 - Limited note from my birthday earlier in the month but I gave noted a score + 2.5 hour slow ox, black/blue fruit, smoke, mocha.
