September 7, 2019 - Nice Brunello - pretty classic at first but became a little modern over time. Nice tannins, robust flavor, but a little lean on the finish. Popped and poured; consumed half immediately and half 24 hours later.

July 9, 2019 - Complex, evolution, acidity, red fruit, full wine.

In my memory, my previous bottle performed better (or this one had to suffer from the great bottles that followed)

June 11, 2019 - Outstanding classic style Brunello. I'll hold my other bottle of this at least 2-3 more yrs.

February 21, 2019 - Sweet cherry, touch of sage, clean, elegant southern Brunello. More complexity with air, but stays clear of the flinty, earthy, underbrush tinged style. One of the least tired or baked '07 wines that I've tasted recently. Good.

February 2, 2019 - Red brick color. Perfumed earthy cinnamon nose. The fruit has faded more than its age would indicate. Flavors of dark cherry, plum, cinnamon, and licorice. Ready to drink given the faded fruit. Nicely complex given the pronounced secondary flavors. Still a touch on the tannic side, not sure more time in bottle will improve the wine. It does need at at least an hour decant time for both aeration and sediment.
