October 26, 2021 - Large Coravin pour tasted over 3 hours. This is a bright sparkling medium garnet color that looks like it could have been bottled yesterday. In my cellar since release, a friend and I tasted this and we were both actually at the estate during the 2010 harvest. The nose of this was effusive and classic tar, roses and cherry but what was striking about this wine was the impeccable balance and crystalline purity of both the nose and the palate. So refined and elegant, it just seemed precise and detailed in a beautiful way. The finish was long and lingering. Light to medium in body but so flavorful and varietally correct with nothing in the way of it screaming "Nebbiolo"! I always love wines that have that ability to dance lightly on your tongue but express depth of flavor and this bottle had that exactly. This should age well as it still had good acid and tannic structure...probably best over the next 5+ years if you like the fruit but will last a lot longer I suspect.

October 8, 2021 - My 4th, group's 2nd of 6 in 2010 B & B tasting w/ 3.5 hour decant. Soft, but fruit filled nose. Caught a little cinnamon late in the evening. Good acid entry with bright fruit middle and well balanced and integrated finish; very light tannin. I even recognized this as 1 of 2 Barbaresco entries in the blind tasting.

July 24, 2021 - Sweet cherries, smooth tannins, very long finish, very dry. Better with age

May 2, 2021 - This Rabajà is in a really nice phase right now. Still primary notes of black cherries, lots of roses and violets as well as some leather. The palate is delicate but intense at the same time giving this Barbaresco a beautiful balance. The tannins are still young, so I would not worry about cellaring this beauty for another 1-2 decades.
