February 3, 2023 - Enjoyed at HK POB Paulee. Small glass sample.

This felt a little tired - perhaps because it was quite late in the night and it had already been breathing for a long time. Would be keen to revisit this wine in more controlled circumstances, as the notes here from others are encouraging.

January 6, 2023 - Bottle breathe for 2 hours. Drink alongside with Jadot BM 99 and Vougeraie BM 08. Vougeraie 99 is fully mature, and integrated with great nose. The palate is complex with little hint of fruit, smoke, wood and flower. Long finishing. Very nice bottle, and WOTN

August 18, 2022 - @ Charlie Bird NYC. This is drinking in top form. Nice brick color, murky, fine gritted tannins woven into deep secondary flavors and a haunting, lingering aroma on the finish. Goes for 30+ seconds. Drink ‘em!

March 30, 2019 - In jeroboam. Decanted for 4 hrs and consumed in 2 hrs. Smooth. Great nose with complex flavor. Well balance and ripe tannins. In large format, can easily last 10 yrs or more,

July 30, 2015 - Drank with friends at La Tour D'Argent in Paris upon recommendation by sommelier David Ridgway.

Dark ruby/garnet with only a hint of sediment, this wine is fully mature.

dark fruit, berries and spectacular deep, lengthy tasting.

If a date, this was a 25 year old stunner who recently quit her waitress job to go back to college for her masters in 18th century French history.
    C'est tres, tres bon!
