July 29, 2017 - Quite lovely, super refined and with a laser like Grenache delivery. Certainly ready and a pure vineyard wine. Fine and terribly drinkable.

February 17, 2017 - My final bottle of this delicious wine...similar to the 4/17/15 bottle and an excellent bottle.

December 7, 2016 - The nose shows old world grenache, dark fruit, licorice and lavender. This is medium bodied with nice minerality and plenty of just ripe tannins. The dark fruit quickly transitions to earth and spice on a lingering finish. Traditional, balanced, terroir driven, delicious.

October 28, 2016 - This has developed beautifully during the last two years. The bouquet features the scents of thick petal flowers, blue and black berry liqueurs, herbs, wet and dry crushed rocks, and metallic ores. The wine tastes like it smells, maybe even more pronounced. The berry liqueur, crushed rock, and ore elements create an amalgam of rock and mineral berried candy, reminiscent of the crème de cassis textural weight and 'sweetness' that can be found in the finest Bordeaux, but richer. Superb balance, seductive mouthfeel, tantalizing finish.

A young wine that should reach its prime drinking window in three to five years and last until 2025+. 93-94.
