March 30, 2018 - Austere is a good description, classic Nebbiolo characteristics but remains tight, without giving much up. Tannin & acidity in a good spot, noticeable without being sharp. Still some hints of light primary fruit (red cherry) but not much. Subtle long good finish, if in general not super complex. Very good not great. For fans of younger character, drink now or 1-2 years; for fans of maturity, let it go 5 more.

Medium Garnet in the glass.
Leather, smoke, cigar box, black fruit.
Slightly austere, but medium bodied and above medium acidity.
Medium length. Not super complex, but nice enough. Would likely improve with decanting.
Can probably last a few years.
