March 25, 2022 - Meals in France; 3/21/2022-3/26/2022 (France): Rich orchard and stone showing both fresh and maturing character. Good+ weight and length, with lots of layer that kept unfolding in glass. Kept getting better all night.

July 4, 2019 - July 4th Dinner with the Moreaus (Chassagne-Montrachet): Directly from/ at the domaine. Stunning beauty that started slowly, then gradually emerged from its shell. Stone and orchard fruit in equal proportion with impressive weight and impeccable balance. So good now, with upside.

Initially I found the aromatics backward but the palate was consistently generous and gorgeous in its richness, freshness and purity. The aromas came around with a few minutes. March 15, 2017 - Tasted side by side with the 09 Moreau Chassagne Chenevottes. This was expectedly more substantial, concentrated and initially closed-in. Seriously concentrated and dense. With time in the glass it starts to loosen up and become more generous. Well proportioned. Best tastes were the last glass. Needs time.
