April 16, 2024 - Opened and poured a short glass an hour before tasting. The color of this wine is a light straw yellow. The cork had a small amount of mold under the capsule, but the wine itself didn't smell or taste tainted (after a short airing to off-gas residuals). The nose was muted. The palate has tart green apple, citrus, and limestone with quite a bit of acid, leading to an imbalance that was off-putting. The body was medium-. The impression was of a wine almost past its drink-by date (remember this was a 375ml, so a 750ml may fair better). ABV 12.5%

September 21, 2016 - Straw yellow. Ripe white fruits and lots of acacia honey on the nose. Very good concentration and enough acidity to provide balance.
Has developed nicely the last couple of years and put on some flesh. -

July 4, 2013 - This bottle was much more acidic. In fact so much my wife didn't like it and I was forced to drink most of it while cooking! ;-) BUT on a more serious note. It could be shutting down. Does small white wines do that too? well, the acidity is becoming too much now. It should rest a least a year now maybe more.
