November 18, 2016 - So, went to La Maison des Vins at place Keym, saw the wine, they strongly recommended it. Then at home checked the tasting notes and got scared, so I opened it for dinner.
Really good, with a nice strong acidity: perhaps lacking a bit of complexity but I prefer this to the modern muscular burgundies.
It could that this wine was not shipped in good conditions? -

February 7, 2016 - Oxidized. I bought 4 bottles of 2010 Piuze Grand Cru (2 Clos, 2 Bouquereaux) and 3 of them were oxidized. Never again.

April 25, 2015 - After reading all the premox comments,decided to open my first one since release and was quite pleased how young it was. Crisp, floral with fine minerality. Hoping that my other bottles of this and Clos will also show well.

March 14, 2015 - My first and last Piuze. Perfect provenance, wax cap, perfect cork, and yet vinegar. I clearly was not the only one with this issue. Piuze blew a fantastic vintage. Cartime graciously brought the Clos to dinner one night, and we gagged over it. I wonder how many bottles Gillman had to open before he could drink one.
