February 4, 2023 - popped and poured out a glass. Unapproachable at first. After about 2 hours it was singing

January 17, 2015 - A nose of cherry and spice, medium ruby in color. A medium to full bodied Pinot Noir, with black cherry, plum, minerals, good acidity, spices on finish, a good value. www.winelx.com

December 17, 2013 - Still very young. Tart red fruit nose, with stemmy florals and some sous bois notes. Tart cherry palate with earthy minerals. Great acidity and grip. Wait 8 - 10 years. 91+

March 13, 2013 - NR This was the second mediocre bottle of a 2010 Savigny 1er cru from this producer, the first being the Gravains I had about a month ago. Having had so many fabulous 2010's, and having had these same wines from this producer in lesser vintages, I am very puzzled as to the condition of the bottles, or is it the wines themselves?

February 22, 2013 - 2010 Burgundies Blind (Lavandou): Poured blind. Pretty. Very pure and vibrant berry fruit that almost seemed reminiscent of Beaujolais, but softer and more sheer. The tannin tightens up on the back end.
