April 15, 2018 - Notes of citrus and hay. Dry and light with mineral.

October 12, 2014 - An amazing dinner with lots of Italian wines at DBA (DBA): Very nice showing. I have had this wine a lot, but my first time trying the 11. It is a bit rounder with more fruit and less cut than prior years, but within reason for sure. I think it should be consumed young for that reason, but this was delicious. Medium deep golden in color. The nose is all about lemon vanilla cream. some minerality. Round with a lush texture. Enough acidity to carry the food, but this drinks fine on its own too. Nice finish.

July 15, 2014 - No real cut or precision, the wine's fruit is just fine in its fleshiness and roundness and there are no flaws. But it tastes like a non-sweet peach bellini.

June 12, 2014 - Ann didn't like this much as she thought there was something funky about it and said it tasted like salty clams. This is one of those wines where our palates don't align and I struggle to figure out what it is she is tasting. For me there was some lemon, flinty/earthy mineral, and what I think are light oaky/woody notes on the nose. I like the nose. On the palate, some citrus, but more apple and orchard fruits. Some salinity and mineral, a little almond and nutty note on the finish. Also hints of fennel. A little round and lacking a bit of acid for me. Not bad overall and somewhat interesting but not something I will buy again. 87-88
