November 17, 2023 - Day 1: Love Wine Bid. For some reason avoided them for years but off the chart values over the last year. $31 to the door on this one. Really a cool wine with raspberries, minerals, spice, menthol, candied strawberries, dust and earth. Super complex wine and enjoyable Probably at its peak so drink and enjoy. 93 points

November 30, 2020 - Thanksgiving wine and it was drinking beautifully. Plenty of fruit remaining and a nice depth that I don't remember from earlier drinking.

December 13, 2018 - The purity of fruit here was beautiful and delicious. Definitely New World, but not over-the-top, this was ultra-clean and precise, with tannins that were largely resolved but with just a hint of fine-grained texture. Not as good on day 2. My favorite Maison Bleue wine thus far. 91-92

October 28, 2017 - I had this with pulled pork on 10/28/17. It had a deep, elegant, harmonious bouquet of black cherry, raspberry, cola, baking spice and mocha aromas. The palate was rich, elegant and seamlessly balanced with flavors of black cherry, raspberry, cola, mocha, mineral and spice.

May 4, 2016 - A bit of funk on the nose, along with bright red fruits. This is in its prime drinking window now, with savory red fruits and secondary flavors entering the mix. A bit of funk on the long finish as well. This turned our quite nice.

April 30, 2016 - I checked in on this wine due to the number of notes that expressed that it might be over its prime.
Definitely showing ripe Grenache typicity right out of the gate, and about a half hour in I can see what others are talking about. The wine sort of stumbles, gets a little awkward and disjointed, and some of the alcohol starts to become very apparent.
However, it seems to reign it back in about an hour later and shows well from that point all the way through to 1 and 2 days later. So, I am not sure what to make of this wine. It will be interesting to hear what others experience with this wine over time.

December 17, 2015 - Some nice fruit but alcohol peaking through just a bit? I think better to drink now.

May 3, 2015 - What a nice bottle of wine. Not overloaded, not heavy, not an alcohol bomb. Just a pleasure.
