April 9, 2023 - Typical oily Riesling nose, slightly frizzante at the beginning. Very elegant and not too much sugar. A great discovery but needs to age much more.

December 25, 2021 - Christmas dessert wine! Opened in London, P&P but enjoyed slowly.

Wonderful bottle of Auslese, supply and seductively sweet, but very well balanced and left me always wanting more.

We were already many bottles in but this was a wonderful way of closing out the night and celebrating. Cheers to RR for enjoying it with me and continuing our tradition of good wines for Christmas.

July 22, 2020 - Incredibly honeyed, green melon, with lemon zest blending into the finish for balance. It’s really for dessert and quite delectable, needs more complexity to gain a higher score

February 18, 2017 - Rieslingfeier 2017; 2/17/2017-2/18/2017 (NYC): Tasted at large walkaround tasting. knockout wine. botrytis, peach, dry honey. impeccable balance and a long, long finish.

July 19, 2016 - working with wine 2016 seminar 2 - sweet wines (Hilton Hotel, Sydney): Apple & citrus; lemon over orange but also honeysuckle and sweet spice - almost a cinnamon note…in the mouth sweet apples, oranges, impetuously youthful and still simple with a lovely ripe apple skin note to the finish. The acidity carries the sweetness and lends a lovely fresh, crunchy apple. the whole is harmonious. nice but young. Yum really doesn't cut it.

February 20, 2016 - Rieslingfeier Grand Tasting (New York City, NY): This shows a very deep botrytis influence, though the youthful fresh-fruitedness can't be denied. Despite the thick texture and richness, this is never heavy and rests gently on the palate. The acidity is perhaps a touch lighter here, but this ought to be great all the same.
