A full deep palate still fresh and strong. Could be mistaken for a Paulliac

I had no idea what could it be. I guessed Bordeaux but was also thinking about a Burgundy, still fruit aromas and with ripe and silky tannins. Close to his peak, I would wait not much longer. 94

July 23, 2021 - After a one hour decant what you got was pretty much only... Blueberry. A touch of graphite (almost a bit Pauillac like). On the nose and on the palate. Very primary indeed. Delicious for sure but a bit monolithic. With a few more hours a nice tea note emerged on the nose giving this a lot more interest and it also fanned out nicely on the palate. I would wait for another 10 years for this to see more development of flavours. Today it was dwarfed by Cheval 83 and Margaux 90.

December 22, 2020 - Amazing nose ripe dark fruits chocolate wet earth, quite dense and almost like mocha on the palate with sweet molasses, dark chocolate, sandlewood and tobacco (cigars) enjoyed this but just floored tonight by the 98 Le Pin

September 18, 2020 - Deep fruit and oak and fungal nose. Some iron after swirling. More fruit, tasted oak, cinnamon, and green cabernet franc notes. Medium long finish with plenty of fine tannins. Just very balanced and pleasing. 96-97
