June 24, 2019 - PnP. A more masculine version of pinot noir. Earthy and dark red fruit aromas which follow on to the medium to plus palate. Add to these the flavors of red fruits, some Russian River Valley cola, and a touch of spice. The acidity is balancing, the tannins are totally integrated, and the finish is medium plus. This wine is drinking well now, and should hold for several more years.

September 28, 2018 - Wine tastes fantastic right now. Flavors are solid, but not as much depth as other Hobbs Pinots like Lindsey. Still plenty of development going on.

December 31, 2017 - Opened for 1 hour. Super lush and balanced. Lovely subtle fruit aromas, with a long velvety finish full of spice. Really enjoyed this one.

August 6, 2017 - Opened in the bottle for 1 hour. Definitely lighter than expected but still plenty of weight compared to others. Syrupy raspberry, cola, strawberry, and cloves. Likely at its peak but has 5 more years to go.

August 23, 2016 - At first the hot alcohol dominated the nose. After the second glass other aromas came forward.
Not really very Pinot Noir-like, except in a big California way.
