November 4, 2018 - Very tannic. Lots of fruit, but overpowered by tannins. Interesting, but not great.
April 2, 2017 - Rich, full-bodied fruit (berries and plums). Some notes of tobacco and leather. Very lovely wine -- I'm glad to make its acquaintance.

September 11, 2014 - (A/A-) Just what I remember. Violet all over the nose, with a whiff of vineyard breeze. Acid all the way through, which is lovely. Red fruit, violet, and cola elements. Just beautiful. Perhaps a tiny bit muted, but it's going to come on strong soon. It was good night 1. It was back to "wow" status night 2. Drink with 24 hour decant, or hold.
August 28, 2014 - Enjoyed over 2 or 3 days. Nice fruit and smooth with a nice finish.
June 25, 2014 - Great Cabernet. Dark fruit, a bit of spice, and a hint of vanilla. Very smooth.loved it!
May 20, 2012 - Winery Tastings, Napa, May 2012; 5/17/2012-5/20/2012 (Coombsville, Howell Mountain, Moss Creek, Calistoga, Spring Mountain, Rutherford, Pritchard Hill): (A) A wow-wine. Dark fruit with cluster-fermentation type complexity, though I'm sure it wasn't. Dry flowers up front, cola element on the back palate. Complex cola spices marry with vanilla to create a palate-coating experience. Long finish. Fantastic.
