March 18, 2017 - Disappointed with this. Very dark fruit profile, a bit over ripe too. Nose was great but fell flat on the palate. Dumb phase?

October 1, 2016 - Nice wine for the vintage. Not spoofed like so many St. Em's these days, ripe but not overdone. There was, however, a prominent roasted note that I wasn't crazy about. Otherwise, delivered a very good Bordeaux experience.

February 8, 2015 - I don't know, maybe this is just shut down hard right now, but it didn't impress me very much. Competently made but little sizzle going for it. I'll leave my other bottles for 5 years. Meh.

August 3, 2012 - The 2009 delivers blackberries, currant, damp earth, floral, toasted oak and hints of nutmeg, which leap from the glass. The round, yet firm tannins carry the fruit into the supple finish that turns long and chewy. Shows character, very solid. Composed of 75% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. (Drink 2013-2021)
