July 5, 2014 - Medium body, little too soft, could use less Merlot, friendly, easy to drink, would like stronger finish, would go with anything but heavy meat

January 21, 2014 - This is a lovely bottle of Sangiovese for the price. Beautiful colored wine - red with hints of orange and garnet on the rim showing just a hint of age. Nice perfumed dried roses and some subtle leather hints on the nose. little piney, bay leaf and some dried fruit on the nose. Palate is much brighter than the nose with tart cranberry, tart cherry and tart strawberry. Really pretty acid balance on the fruit and well integrated at a 14% alcohol per the bottle. Probably one of the better sangios i've had lately. would happily buy and drink this again.

November 26, 2013 - Nice little wine, taking some time to come around. Bright red cherry fruit and pine, good acidity, a little soft in the middle, don't know why they felt the need to add intl varieties.

October 24, 2013 - Young and slightly green but red fruit, pine and ginger show through on the palate. Nice acidity and body. Needs time.
