November 19, 2018 - Consistent with previous note. The wine dropped after an hour in the glass.

March 29, 2018 - 10 Bass Philip Estate has coffee beans, rose petal, sweet red currant and flowers which is very similar to the Prieure Roch and Leroy nose. The palate is expressive with red and citrus fruit but a bit lean. 10 is a great BP vintage. Superb

April 20, 2017 - Looking seriously good. Structure, nose and all else pointing towards old world as only Bass Phillip can for and Australian PN. Right in its window. Lovely wine. Drink and enjoy it now.

June 10, 2016 - Pinot Noir Tasting with the Boys. OMG this was a stunner and blind people were going DRC, Volnay etc. Dark ruby garnet, elegant and slightly restrained nose of cherry compote, red roses, light jam, white chocolate. Palette is smooth and precisely balanced in the way fine pinot noir is. Flavours of mushrooms, strawberries, butter, cinnamon and smoked leather. Cool to the lips and refreshing. Gorgeous wine.

    October 30, 2015 - 2010 Bass Phillip estate Pinot
    Color: cloudy red
Nose: wow nose! Pretty, ripe sweet red berries, floral & very elegant, just so appealing, my nose of the night
Palate: superbly balanced, attractive red berries, nothing heavy but elegant, silky, complex, long finish, v good almost the WOTN, drank with 12 telegraphe, 06 Rayas and 08 ch la tour Clos vougeot VV
