September 19, 2014 - a big wine, something like a touch of portwine. nice first mouthfeel, then a sweetness comes up, lots of cherries, conserved fruits. the finish is also sweet and very long. good aged, drinking very smooth, but there is not enough depth and finesse to score higher. this wine is for a big round of people after a meal, to slow down. i cant drink half a bottle of this in a evening. also not food-friendly, maybe pair it with a dessert. interesting wine but overall i'm missing complexity.

August 16, 2012 - Inky, deep ruby. Maraschino cherry on the nose with smoke and hints of spice. Similar on the palate, cherry syrup and tar, with med+ tannin.
