  January 30, 2021 - This wine was great on day 1 but average on days 2 and 3 (so my score is an average). Drink up once you open! Speaking re day 1, nose had forest floor funk on open. The wine was dense and concentrated but on day 2 started to exhibit elevated licorice notes. The concentration was no surprise, as the wine is approx 25% cab franc and the cab is clone 337. Wish I had simply enjoyed it all on day 1.

  June 13, 2020 - Excellent wine. Incredible nose, nice body, and beautiful finish. Cali cab at its finest. Drinking perfectly right now. Decanted for 3 hours and double decanted left in bottle with cork on another 2. Perfect by the time we drank.

  January 1, 2020 - A really nice wine. I am a big fan and wish that I owned more. Black fruit in the nose. Wet dark in color. Finish was smooth and well tempered considering bottle age. A great time to consume this wine in my opinion.

  September 24, 2017 - This is a rich, complex experience that will seem like nothing but weird fireworks and tannins until it's been in the glass for three hours. Excellent CS/CF blend with all kinds of nuance but it's still too much of a firecracker to evaluate. Probably a 94+ when I have my next bottle in 5 years.
