May 6, 2021 - Still a youthful, translucent ruby, fading to rose at the rim. No hint of orange or amber creeping in. Lovely nose, dominated by earth and spice, with underlying red fruits, mostly cranberry and a bit of cherry/raspberry. Lovely mouthfeel. Reflective of 2010, it's leaner than your typical Oregon Pinot. Terrific wine that would be very hard to pick out of a burgundy lineup. I'm not sure anyone consistently does it better in the Willamette Valley.

June 4, 2015 - stellar. Drank this right after an entry Comte Armand and for less price offered so much more and never felt over blown, too ripe or whatever other criticism new world wines get when compared to old world wines. This gave all the pleasures of what one seeks in Burgundy for a much more reasonable tariff.

March 21, 2014 - Scents of tart red fruits, earth, cinnamon bark, and undercurrents of dark cherries. Bright and energetic in the mouth. Nice texture. Tart red fruit, cherry flesh and skins, and a dry finish that picks up a flutter of bitterness to keep things interesting. Focused and elegant, though currently not showing the complexity that I sense may come with age. My only bottle, and I wish I'd waited a few more years.

January 20, 2013 - Light color, transparent. Pleasant pinot noir aroma. Light-medium body, red fruits, Burgundian. Medium aftertaste, slightly hot. Very pleasant, not overly complex. Too pricey, though.

November 22, 2012 - Great Willamette Pinot; very Burgundian. Lacks some depth, but very enjoyable.
