November 20, 2019 - PnP. This has softened, but with similar notes to my previous review (well-balanced black & red raspberries, cherry, baking spices), and worn leather. This is medium-bodied and silky smooth, with just an enjoyable slight tingle of tannins and finish.
June 6, 2019 - Deep dark zin, enjoyable, but wouldn't hold much longer
April 28, 2019 - Good drinker, definitely Zinfandel all the way.
May 27, 2018 - Opened this bottle at the right time. Very fruit forward.
August 23, 2015 - PnP. Nicely well-balanced nose and palate of black & red raspberries, cherry, winter spices and earth. A complex, medium-bodied wine with a silky finish.
July 21, 2015 - Very tasty, bold & fruity w/ a chocolate richness. Lovely mouthfeel. Probably not varietally correct - could have been mistaken for a cab. Nonetheless, this is a fun & hedonistic wine to drink.
November 15, 2014 - A tasty, dark fruit filled zin with a touch of licorice. Solid if a little underwhelming.
March 10, 2013 - Enjoyed with Mexican food. the spicier flavors paired well with this Zinfandel.
December 9, 2012 - The wine was smooth and jammy for a zin with a great finish. It was even better after opening up.
December 8, 2012 - This is an excellent red wine with lovely bright red fruit, although perhaps not varietally correct. It is much richer and more rounded than many zins, and I suspect that there is some Cab/Merlot in the blend. Either way, we enjoyed it quite a bit and found it very drinkable.
