November 13, 2015 - Fruit forward mostly primary with a bit of a savory note appearing in the finish in the second hour. Black cherry and tea on nose. Lot of acid in the finish which is a bit clipped. Dark red color. Probably best near term as the finish seems out of balance with the fruit fairly quickly into the bottle.

July 24, 2014 - Medium purple in color, with cherry, strawberry, and wet earth aromas. The palate exhibits red cherry, blackberry black tea, tilled soil, and spice. Medium finish.

February 5, 2014 - Drinking beautifully now, with clove and raspberry aromas, a heady cherry and raspberry palate. Lightly spicy finish, with smooth, integrated tannins and a seductive satiny mouthfeel. Delicious.

December 24, 2013 - I love EK, and to be honest i thought this Pinot just wasn't really there. Thin and a little green. Not sure if it needs a bit more time or what, but out of balance and lacked the typical fruit, acidity that i generally like in EK wines
