  July 26, 2013 - PnP, served non-blind. Dark purple core, almost inky. Piercing aromas of raw meat, dried herbs, earth and bacon fat persist over the course of the night. Juicy palate, almost thick. Very good food wine offering broad pairing options. Drinks above its $25 price-point. 14,8% abv is mostly integrated, tannins are round, chewy. Drink thru 2017. Good QPR

  July 14, 2012 - Very pretty color. Nose of red fruits, slight tobacco, bit of funk when first opened. Red fruits on initial taste, with some spicy notes. A bit disjointed.
