  March 13, 2017 - This was the weakest of the three bottles I have sampled over the past few years. Seems tired, and in need of drinking up. Still some enjoyment here, just not for long. Hopefully YMMV.

  December 14, 2016 - Almost 3 years on now and time to retaste.
  
  Color: still a fairly dark ruby/purple core -> deep ruby rim; truly has barely lost any depth or color penetration to the rim. Took about 30 minutes to show its best with the bouquet showing blueberries, blackberries, asphalt and some medicinal accents. Palate still rich and lush with mineral notes, ash and black fruit dominating. Good acid, reasonably long finish and the touch of heat on the finish from last note seems to have integrated. I remember this being quite the bargain and I'd say it's still pretty tasty with a few years (or more) to go.

  February 13, 2016 - In the drinking phase now. All the primary elements appear resolved, some fine tannins provide support. Not a big style so slightly misplaced as a winter warmer, but tasty juice nonetheless.
