April 2, 2024 - Had not tried a bottle in 6 years and it has improved. Dark fruit on the nose. The palate was dark berry, fig, leather and a touch of spice. The finish was long and smooth. Really nice bottle of wine.
January 16, 2021 - Dark ruby color and chassis smell and taste in the glass. A great wine, which will still develop over the next 5 years.
December 24, 2020 - Wow! An extraordinary bottle. Almost perfect balance of mellow tannins, cherry and earthy notes and an assertiveness that is hard to forget.
December 4, 2020 - We drank this wine 2 weeks ago, and I can’t remember a thing about it, other than loving every splash. A winner, even with my fuzzy memory. 😀

December 13, 2018 - Beautiful nose of leather and red fruits. Complex, smooth, slightly tannic, good mouthfeel and finish. Seemed to evolve over the course of 3 hours and become more spicy and complex. Good finish. My wotn. 92 --93

April 24, 2018 - Drinking beautifully now. Blackberries and anise on the nose. Blackberries, tobacco and mint on the tongue. Good structure on the mid-palate. Nice, long finish.
