July 6, 2018 - Elegant pinot drinking well. Damp soil nose, cherry rhubarb palate. Nice acid and fine tannins on the finish.

February 17, 2014 - The pleasures of low priced Burgundy from less reknowned villages. This isn't super complex but it is tasty with a great spicy and sweet fruit nose. The palate is mostly tart to sour cherry and some minerality on a light weight frame. Only knock are the chewy tanins on the finish which seemed to stand out more to me this time around. Paid between $16 -23 for this wine and worth it.

February 9, 2014 - Monthly Tasting Group: Cote de Beaune (The Lynn on Bryant, Mpls, MN): Medium red color with garnet hues. Small pour. Ripe, strawberry, nice, bright nose. The palate is light, berries, medium-light body, some crushed stone. 89+pts.

April 5, 2013 - Another great btl and such an ambassador for the style of producer imported by Kermitt lynch. Classic terroir driven wine. You can taste and smell the rocks in this one. This will never ever be mistaken for new world or modern. Facinating stuff at a very modest price. I've pad as low as $16 for this but most btls came in at $23.

September 7, 2012 - PnP, consumed over a couple of hours. Floral, slight vanilla / creme soda esque, and cinnamon on the nose and not meek at all; really like the nose. Taste is a little thin with tart cherries, some mineral aspects and then fades off to long drying tannins. Really liked the nose, palate was a little thin but if I saw this on closeout again, I'd buy more.
