June 27, 2008 - Initial nose of grape jelly/juice. I couldn't get much more. Still very tight. Will with-hold a score since it was too tight to judge.

June 21, 2008 - This baby was black as the acie of spades. Black currant aromoas. Exceptionally smooth, good lengthy finish. Blackberries, rasperries, plums. tremendous. Very sad that this was my one and only bottle of this wine.

November 22, 2006 - WOW. This could be the darkest wine I've ever seen. Black... and I mean motor oil black, this stains everything it touches. Way too young, extremely tight. Vacu-vinned half the bottle and tried more the next day. Still tight, but showing some nive oak, vanilla and blackberry notes. If the tannins settle, this could be very enjoyable and hit the 90 point mark... I'm not touching my remaining bottle for 1-2 years. 87-89 points.

September 1, 2006 - Tasted at the winery. Rich exotic nose. Tons of blackberry and other dark fruits. Big and jammy. Oily texture. Very astringent. Needs several years to settle down.
