May 20, 2014 - This was a bottle of Tempranillo to remember! Deep purple in the glass with very rich smells ... complex flavors to taste and enjoy.
February 21, 2014 - Nice Tempranillo, with soft blueberry, oak, & olives. Nice value. Wonder about whether this will age well. One bottle left; maybe I will lay it down.
November 10, 2013 - Russk. GC here. Nose and mouth of iron, iodine and old Bx. Earthy barnyard too.
Skip the 2010, for now. Not nearly as good.
October 15, 2013 - Good representation of the varietal and a very good value. Blue fruits with soft oak and smoky flavors on the palate. Soft tannins make it very approachable.
September 14, 2013 - Dry but great with simple pasta marinara.
July 27, 2013 - Pnp. Color dark garnet with crimson edges. Nose shows dense dark ripe fruit and a hint of VA. swishing shows dark fruits and equal acids and tannin structure which is dense but balances the ripe fruit perfectly. Sipping allows the fruit to really shine, and the structure plays out more on the finish.
